Mixed media outdoor plant installation, with recycled soda bottles
My project installs and documents an urban nano-farming demonstration project in the park around the Old Stone House. Nano-farming installations small containers of greens and other edibles-- are installed on lamp posts around J.J. Byrne Park outside the Old Stone House. Nano-farming containers are sited to relate to/emerge from the built environment. The nano-farming installations are both improbable and practical cropping up in unlikely places, but with the potential to yield actual fresh food for consumption. I am proposing this as a deadpan-but-oddball demonstration project that could be replicated in other parts of the urban landscape.
